Creating downtime

  1. Click the Batches list option on the Planning Board screen. The Batches list panel is displayed.
  2. Select the Downtime tab.
  3. Click the Downtime option on the toolbar. The Create New Downtime window is displayed.
    Note: You must have the ‘’Production Scheduling - Create Downtime’’ permission to create or modify the downtime record.
  4. Specify this information:
    Notes
    A description for the downtime batch.
    Resource
    The resource for which the downtime batch is created.
    Start Time
    The start date and time of the downtime batch.
    Note: 
    • The system validates that the selected dates are within the defined horizon.
    • The calendar is pre-set to the start date of the work area and limits date selection within permissible range defined for that work area.
    End Time
    The end date and time of the downtime batch.
    Note: 
    • The system validates that the selected dates are within the defined horizon.
    • The calendar is pre-set to the start date of the work area and limits date selection within permissible range defined for that work area.
    Duration
    The duration of the downtime batch.
    Lock downtime
    Determines if the downtime batch is locked.
    Note: By default, this check box is selected.
  5. Click Save. The downtime batch is created and displayed in the planning board.

You can use this page to:

  • Modify the existing downtime records using the Edit option.
  • Delete the existing downtime records using the Delete option.
