Tactical and Strategic MAPE
The Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) summary statistic (sum-stat) is calculated by the forecast engine.
The MAPE sum-stat is calculated when:
- The Forecast From Date is set to a new weekly or monthly period.
 - The net history within the last period of a Planning Entity (PE) is updated.

The sum-stat is calculated using Sales Units and is displayed on the Details and Accuracy tabs of the Information panel.
The sum-stats are displayed as:
- Strategic MAPE: SMAPE on the Details tab.
 - Tactical MAPE: TMAPE on the Details tab.
 - Accuracy on the Accuracy tab.

You can use the Lucene query to search for a range of sum-stats in the Selection panel. For example, if you specify the "sum_stats.SMAPE:[20% TO 45%]" query in a search, PEs or APEs with SMAPE sum-stats values within the range of 20% and 40% are displayed in the Selection panel.
          Note:

        - The MAPE sum-stat is calculated for PEs and forecasting APEs.
 - If this sum-stat is calculated and updated for a base PE, the sum-stat is automatically recalculated and updated for all the associated APEs.
 - This sum-stat is displayed on the Details tab only after changes to the net history of the PE or APE is saved.
