Allocating resources

  1. Select the required process batches and tank batches on the planning board.
  2. Select Schedule > Allocate. The Allocate window is displayed.
  3. Specify this information:
    extend selection
    Select to extend the selection to all the batches within the working area on the resource groups of the selected batches.
    keep allocation
    Select to prevent reallocation of the process batches or tank batches. Only enabling batches are reallocated.
    keep enabling allocation
    Select to prevent reallocation of the enabling batches. Only process batches and tank batches are reallocated.
  4. Click Apply. You can preview the changes made on the planning board.
  5. Click OK to accept the changes. Else, click Cancel.
