Schedule

You can use these options from the Schedule menu:

• Solver: To define the Solver settings.
• Run Solver: To run the solvers directly from the menu, if you select the show in menu check box when defining the Solver setting. You must select the valid batches before running the solver.
• Schedule Process Batches: To view the Schedule Process Batches window, if you select the batches on the planning board.
• Repeat Schedule Process Batches: To use the Schedule Process Batches option again without modifying the settings.
• Distribute Process Batches: To view the Distribute Process Batches window.
• Earliest Start: To schedule the selected process batches at the earliest start time.
• Latest End: To schedule the selected process batches at the latest end time.
• Ultimate Inventory Quantity: To increase or decrease the quantities of unlocked, decoupled process batches (that is, replenishment and depletion batches). This enables you to maintain the inventory simulation just above standard inventory level.
• Earliest Inventory Time and Latest Inventory Time: To move the replenishment and depletion batches based on the parameter you select for the Inventory strategy field on the Inventory point tab of the Product Entry window.
• Split: To divide a process or tank batch into two or more new batches.
• Join: To combine two or more selected batches (of the same process step) into a new batch.
• Distribute Tank Batches: To view the Distribute Tank Batches window, if you make a relevant selection on the planning board.
• Distribute Tank Outflow: To redistribute the total outflow of the selected tank batches for the same process step. By distributing the outflow, you can ensure that the tanks are occupied for the shortest possible time.
• Distribute Tank Outflow Parallel: To unload the tanks in parallel, only if the consuming process batches are scheduled in parallel.
• Allocate: To view the Allocate Resources window.
• Check Schedule: To view the Check Schedule window.
