Features tab
The Features tab displays the list of features that can be enabled or disabled as required.
This information is displayed on the Features tab:
- name
- The name of the feature.
- enabled

Indicates if the feature is enabled.
Note: You can enable or disable a feature by selecting or clearing the corresponding check box.
- stage

Indicates the status of a feature. Possible values:
- Opt-in: Ready for general testing and is disabled by default for new tenants.
- Opt-out: Ready for general availability and is enabled by default for new tenants.
Note: When a feature is ready for general availability, the status of the feature is set to Accepted. The feature is enabled for all tenants.
- Deprecated: By default, disabled for new tenants.
Note: Existing tenants can enable the feature, if required. The status of the stage is set based on the previous stage.
- Obsolete: By default, disabled for all tenants. Tenants can enable the feature, if required.
Note: You must have the appropriate permission (Infor Power Users) to modify the status of a feature.
These features are available on the Features tab:
- Use 64bit client: Installs the 64-bit application. After enabling, you must reinstall the application to download the correct version.
Note: This feature is recommended to use.
- Align Batches: Displays the option in the menu. This option synchronizes the start or end time of the selected batch and applies to the adjusted time to other process batches.
Note: This feature is recommended to use.
- Split over resources: Displays the option in the menu. This option distributes process batches within resources based on duration and quantity.
Note: This feature is recommended to use.
- Disable HTTP compression: Disables the HTTP compression between the PS Client and the server. You can enable this feature if there are issues with GZIP compression.
Note: This feature can be used, if required.
- Synchronize changes before every action: Determines whether changes are processed before executing new actions. Thereby reducing the risk of conflicts.
Note: This feature can be used, if required.
- Publish to SCV: Manages data export to SCV when publishing models. If this feature is enabled and templates are loaded, the export to SCV is triggered after the publishing is complete. Else, the publishing is completed without exporting data to SCV.
Note: You can use this feature for automation purpose.
- Run scripts: Integrates Python scripts into macros, replacing SQL script in cloud deployments. You can select the Automation.Run Script macro and select the available script to be included. This feature uses the ION Scripting framework.

- Prioritize custom fields tab: Displays the Custom field tab in the Process batch and Tank batch details windows.
Note: You can use this feature for more Desktop Client Preferences.
- Open multiple models in desktop client: Displays multiple models side-by-side. This feature requires a re-installation of the desktop client and a maximum of 5 instances can be installed.
Note: You can use this feature for more Desktop Client Preferences.
- Show network: single resource panel: Displays the option in the menu. If this option is selected, a new planning board is opened, and the network batches are displayed in the resource panel.
Note:
- If this feature is disabled, the second planning board displays a first panel with the full network resources, followed by the other view panels based on the current planning board.

- Server-side functions: Enhances performance in a multi-tenant environment by shifting processing tasks from client to server. Features include:

Note: You can use these features for Server-side functions.
