Maintenance window

The Maintenance window is a scheduled time frame during which the software is updated. This window is scheduled outside the standard operational hours.

This message is displayed to the users who log on to the SCP application five minutes before the update is applied:

‘The session is going to be restarted in 5 minutes. Please complete your current action or take a note of any unsaved data.’

The session is automatically restarted, and the page is refreshed after five minutes. Users are moved to the updated code server during the maintenance period. The user must re-apply changes that are not saved.

Note:

This process is not applicable to on-premises installations.
The on-premises application must be updated manually.
