Production Views

The Production Views screen enables the administrators and modelers to create and manage production views in the Web interface. You must have the Configure View permission to access this screen. These are the main components displayed on the Production Views screen:

  • Views List
  • View Configuration

You can access the Production Views screen by selecting the appropriate Production Scheduling model and clicking the Production Views option. This screen displays a list of all master views, and the total count displayed at the top.

These columns are displayed on the Production Views screen:

  • Name: The unique name of the view.
    Note: You cannot modify the name after the production view is created.
  • Description: The description of the production view.
  • Recently Updated By: The name of the user who last updated the production view.
    Note: The username is automatically updated when a new production view is created, copied, or updated.
  • Status: Indicates whether the view is created in the Production Scheduling desktop client or Web interface.
    Note: The status is automatically updated when a new view is created.
  • Actions: You can use these options on the Actions column:
    • Edit View: To modify an existing web view.
    • Copy View: To duplicate an existing web view.
      Note: By default, the copied view is named as [name] - Copy.
    • Delete View: To delete one or multiple views.

    • Open View: To open the selected view on the Planning Board.
      Note: You can use the Edit View option on the toolbar to return to the View Details screen from the Planning Board.
    • Search: To search production views by using relevant keywords.
    • Client Views Switch: To determine whether to hide production views that created in the Production Scheduling desktop client.
      Note: By default, this switch is set to Off.
