Creating scenario mapping
To create a scenario mapping:
- Select Configuration > Cycles > Scenario Mappings.
- Click New.

Specify this information:
- Name
- The identifier for the mapping in the application.
- Display Name
- The display name for the hierarchy mapping.
- Status
- The current status of the mapping. The status, which is set
by the mapping validation process, can be:
- Ready: Status after a successful validation.
- Building: Status for new mappings and edited mappings.
- Invalid: Status after a validation failed.

In the Hierarchy Mapping section, specify this information:
- Source Code List
- Select from a list of planning hierarchies.
- Source Level
- Select from the named levels of the source hierarchy.
- Destination Code List
- Select from a list of planning hierarchies.

In the
Attribute Mapping section, specify this
information:
- Mapping Code List
- Select from a list of code lists. Indicates the structure
(attributes) of the code list that is linked to the mapping definition. The
code list elements of the selected code list that make up the mapping pairs.
Note: Changing the code list while editing a mapping resets all attribute fields.
- Source Attribute
- Select from a list of attributes in the selected code list, with type text. Indicates the attribute in the code list that contains the list of source locations to map. All mappings must have a source attribute defined.
- Destination Attribute
- Select from a list of attributes in the selected code list, with the type Text. Indicates the attribute in the code list that contains the list of destination locations to the map. All mappings must have an end date attribute defined.
- Share Attribute
- Select from a list of attributes in the selected code list, with the number type. Indicates the attribute in the code list that contains the share weighting between nodes. All mappings must have a share attribute defined.
- To add more mapping pairs to the list, repeat steps 2 to 5 as required.
- To save the mapping, click Save.
