Forecast tab

The Forecast tab displays forecast related data. The periodicity of the displayed forecast is dependent on the periodicity defined for Demand Planning Workbench, see Periodicity.

If the periodicity is more than daily and the current Forecast From Date is different from the first date of the forecast period, the first forecast period displays history data to the Forecast From Date and the forecast for the subsequent periods.

For example, you have defined a working day interpolation calendar; if you are forecasting weekly and the week starts on Monday and the forecast starts on Wednesday, the first forecast period displays data from Monday to Tuesday (history data) and provides a forecast from Wednesday to Friday (subsequent periods). The Forecast table displays the forecast periods in the columns. You can scroll horizontally to view all the periods.
