Base Settings tab
This tab displays the base setting details as defined during the initialization process.
You can use this tab to control the forecast and MI interactions between base Planning Entities (PE) and Aggregate Planning Entities (APE).
These are the available fields in the Base Settings tab:
- Control Level
- The planning entity selected as a control level. When an aggregate is selected
as the control level, the forecast from the control level is distributed to the base
PEs as a balance adjustment.Note: By default, the value is set to Base.
- Spreading Method
- The type of method to control adjustments or forecasts from the control
aggregates, which are distributed to base PEs.
Possible values:
- System Forecast
- 12 Months History
Note:- By default, the value is set to System Forecast.
- The system forecast is distributed according to the daily system forecast for each period.
- The option considers the last full 12 monthly buckets to distribute values to the base PEs.
