Entity Settings tab

The Entity Settings tab is used to define the Base Entities as a combination of Product and Channel, wherein the channel is defined at the Warehouse or Customer level.

You must specify or review this information on the Entity Settings tab:

Product: Indicates whether the product is enabled.
Note: By default, the Product switch is selected and cannot be modified.

Channel Definition

The channel definition selected during the initialization process. Possible values:

Customer
Warehouse
Warehouse@Customer

Note: By default, this value is set to Customer.

Display Name: The name to be used when displaying the level of base planning entities.
Note: By default, this value is set to Product@Channel.

Publish Plan Type

Determines where the forecast plan is to be published. The possible options are displayed based on the selected Business Area Type and the Channel Definition. For example:

If the Business Area Type is set to M3 and Channel Definition is set to Warehouse:
- Product@Warehouse to M3
- Product@Warehouse to SCV
If the Business Area Type is set to M3 and Channel Definition is set to Customer:
- Product@Warehouse to M3
- Product@Warehouse to SCV
- Product@Customer to SCV
If the Business Area Type is set to M3 and Channel Definition is set to Warehouse@Customer:
- Product@Warehouse to M3
- Product@Warehouse to SCV
- Product@Warehouse@Customer to SCV
If the Business Area Type is set to SCV and Channel Definition is set to Warehouse:
- Product@Warehouse to SCV
If the Business Area Type is set to SCV and Channel Definition is set to Customer:
- Product@Warehouse to SCV
- Product@Customer to SCV
If the Business Area Type is set to SCV and Channel Definition is set to Warehouse@Customer:
- Product@Warehouse to SCV
- Product@Warehouse@Customer to SCV

Note:

By default, this value is set to Product@Warehouse to M3 for all SCP demand M3 business areas.
By default, this value is set to Product@Warehouse to SCV for all SCP demand SCV business areas.
