Select Attributes step

The Select Attributes screen enables you to add M3 attributes to a Business Area (BA).

Note: This is an optional step in the Business Area Definition wizard and you can skip this step if not required.

The number of attributes that can be added is determined by the license level of the user. An information icon is displayed next to Attributes heading, and hovering over the icon displays the allowed number of selectable attributes.

The M3 attribute details are displayed in the Attributes table. You can add an attribute to the business area by selecting the checkbox in the Selected for Business Area column corresponding to the attribute.

This information is displayed on the Attributes table:
  • Attribute: The M3 property code for the attribute.
  • Display Name: The M3 display name for the attribute.
  • Table Name: The table name as defined in source ERP system (M3).
  • Table Description: The table description as defined in source ERP system (M3).
  • Selected for Business Area: The attributes selectable for the BA.
  • Aggregate Flag: Indicates whether the attribute can be aggregated.
  • Field Type: Indicates whether the aggregate is of text or number type.
