Mandatory activation

The following steps are processed after upgrading each release:
  • The Mandatory Activation Release field of each feature is verified with the current software version.
  • The feature is enabled automatically if the value in the Mandatory Activation Release field is less than or equal to the current version of the software.
    Note: The comparison considers only the major release version. For example, if the version is set to 2024.10.07, the major release version (2024.10) is only considered when comparing.
  • The reversible feature type (For example, 3 - Feature toggle(non-disruptive) reversible and 5 - Feature toggle (disruptive) reversible) can no longer be disabled once they have been mandatorily activated.
  • The audit log records a message for each feature that is enabled automatically.
