Flip Headers

The Flip Headers functionality can be used in the Plan Data plansheet to swap the headers. For example, when columns display the data by property followed by period, you can flip the headers resulting in the columns displaying the data by period first and property subsequently. Plansheets are displayed by default based on the parameters specified in the Parameters and Parameter Overrides fields.

You can access the Flip Headers option from the Ellipses menu after you select a Plan Data plansheet.

Note: The Flip Headers option is displayed only for the standard plan data plansheets.

When you select the Flip Headers option, these tasks are performed:

  • The plansheet is reloaded and changes made in the plansheet are not saved.
  • The headers are flipped based on the order of the elements stored in rv_top_dim. For example, if rv_top_dim = P, Pr the plansheet displays the headers as reverse that is rv_top_dim = Pr, P.
    Note: These header changes are not saved in rv_top_dim.
  • The Flip Headers option applies only to the values stored in rv_top_dim. All other parameters remain same.
  • If you select the Flip Headers option again, the plansheet is reloaded using the original values stored in the rv_top_dim.
Note: If the plansheet contains only 1 header, for example rv_top_dim contains only 1 element, selecting the Flip Headers option has no effect.

The current values in the header are not saved. Hence, if the plansheet is reloaded, the data is displayed based on the stored rv_top_dim values.

The Flip Headers setting is considered when these options are used in the plansheet:

  • Export to Excel
  • Export to PDF
  • Expand to fit Pane/Restore to normal size
