Creating SCV business area

You can create a new Business Area (BA) in the SCP application, using SCV as a data source. Data for the BA is retrieved from SCV after creating the BA.

To create SCV Business Area:

  1. Select SCP > Global > Configuration > Business Area Definition. The Business Area Definition screen is displayed.
  2. Select Create Business Area.
    Note: You must have the create business area permission to create a business area.
  3. Click SCV. The Business Area Definition Wizard screen is displayed.
  4. Specify required information in the Business Area Definition wizard steps:
    Note: You can navigate between the wizard steps using the Next and Previous options.
  5. Click Configure. The SCV business area is created after successful validation.
