Modifying Forecast From Date

You can update the forecast from date value using the Forecast From Date option from the Ellipses menu. You must have appropriate permission to perform this action. The Forecast From Date screen is displayed with the current Forecast From Date for the selected business area. You can specify the required forecast date and click Save. The forecasts are generated automatically based on the new Forecast From Date field value for all the specified forecast level definitions.

Note: 
  • The Forecast From Date field value must be greater than the current value and up to the current date.
  • You can clear the date field to delete the Forecast From Date field value and click Save. The Forecast From Date field value is cleared and the forecasts are generated.
  • When the Forecast From Date is cleared, forecasts generation is controlled by the Automatic Generation Time and the future process is changed to be automated. By default, the Automatic Generation Time field value is set to 01:00.
