Configuring profiles

Profiles are numeric sequences that represent ratios of uplift (increase in value) or downturn (decrease in value) of a marketing aspect, such as a promotional profile, which can be applied to a range of elements.

You can configure profiles that can be used to edit scenario values in a worksheet, based on a sequence of values. To configure profiles:

  1. Select Configuration > Common > Profiles.
  2. Click New.
  3. On the Profiles page, specify this information:
    Name
    The unique name to identify the profile.
    Display Name
    Specify the name that must be displayed in the application. This is an optional field.
    Users

    Specify the users authorized to access the profile.

    Tags

    Specify the tags relevant for the profile.

    Roles

    Specify the roles authorized to access the profile.

  4. Click '+' on the Values tab to add a new Value.
  5. Specify this information:
    Value
    The sequence value for the profile.
  6. Click Save.
    Note: You can use the Duplicate option from the tool bar to create a duplicate of the existing profile.
