Optimization tab

  1. Access the Optimizations tab of the planning engine definition.
  2. Click New (+).
  3. Specify this information:
    Name
    A unique name for the planning engine optimization definition.
    Display Name
    The name to be displayed for the optimization definition.
    Definition
    The optimization definition text, in Infor Advanced Planning (AP) syntax.
    Note: 
    • This value must be a valid AP language text. The specified definition is validated with the full engine definition when you save the planning engine.
    • If the specified definition is invalid, this error message is displayed when you save the planning engine definition:
      Cannot save Planning Engine Definition {0}. Optimization {1} has invalid definition.
  4. Click Add. The optimization is added to the list.
