Class Display Names tab

The Class Display Names tab displays the information related to the display names for the classes, properties, and attributes that are saved within Classes.

This information is displayed in the Class Display Names tab:

Class
The name of the class.
Type
The type of field to which the display name is linked. Possible values:
  • Class
  • Property
  • Attribute
Name
The name (internal id) of a class, property, or attribute.
Note: This value is derived from the class definition
Display Name
The display name for the class, property, or attribute. You can modify the display name, if required.
Note: 
  • The rows in the table are grouped by Class, and all classes are expanded by default.
  • The data in the table is sorted in alphabetical order by Class and name.
  • The changes to the class definition in the Classes tab are automatically updated in the Class Display Name tab. For example:
    • The elements that do not exist in the Planning engine Definition are removed from the table.
    • The elements added to the Planning Engine are displayed are displayed in the table.
    • If the class definition is invalid the data is not displayed in the table and this error message is displayed:
      Classes contain invalid definition. Class Display Names are not available.
    • If all errors with the class definition are resolved, the table displays all original display names.
