Template Migration

Template migration allows you to import an AP11 Planning Engine Definition. This process can be used to load the configuration of an AP11 Planning Engine Definition into an SCP Planning Engine Definition.

To import an AP11 Planning Engine Definition:

Select Configuration > Planning Engines > Planning Engine Definitions. The list of planning engines that are already defined is displayed.
Access the required Planning Engine Definition or create a new Planning Engine Definition.
Click Edit. The Template Migration option is displayed.

Note: You can also perform template migration when you create a new Planning Engine Definition.
Click Template Migration. The Template Migration window is displayed.
Note: If the Planning Engine Definition is populated with data, this warning message is displayed:

The Planning Engine Definition will be overwritten. Do you wish to continue?
```
Click OK. The Migrate Template window is displayed.
Select the required template using the File icon.
Click OK. The AP11 Planning Engine Definition is imported to the Planning Engine Definition.
If the selected template does not contain AP11 Planning Engine definitions, this error message is displayed:
```
The file selected isn't a valid AP11 definition and can't be imported.
```
