Classes tab

You can access the Classes tab of the planning engine definition in edit mode and specify the class definition using Infor Advanced Palnning (AP) syntax.

Note: The class definition text is displayed as follows in the syntax:
  • Numerical value is highlighted in blue color.
  • Text value is highlighted in green color.
  • Predetermined list of keywords are highlighted in blue color. The examples of keywords are class, properties, children, relation, automatic, mixed, child, parent, property, inverted, effectivity, components, attributes, derived, domain, unit, description, sort code, icon, colour, resource name, graphinfo, and so on.
Running Check Optimization
  1. Access the Classes tab of the planning engine definition in read-only mode. The Definition tab displays the specified class definition in plain text.
  2. Select the required optimization using the Check Optimization option. An optimization check is performed on the class definition and the Definition text is highlighted using the syntax.
    Note: 
    • The Check Optimization option displays a list of all optimizations defined within the Planning Engine Definition.
    • The Definition text is highlighted using this syntax:

      Posted Properties Blue, bold
      Properties that are posted and locked (explicitly or derived) Teal, bold, underlined
      Locked Properties (either explicitly or derived) Green, underlined
      Properties that are not posted and are subject to change Purple, italic
  3. Select the Search option to search within the class model text.
    Note: 
    • The Search box is displayed only when the optimization is not selected.
    • This option highlights all occurrences of the searched word.
    • The search option does not display the count of occurrences.
    • You must specify in the search box and click on the down arrow to get to the next result from your cursor position.
    • This option does not support advanced search options such as case-sensitive, whole word or search in selection options. Therefore, partial occurrences or words in uppercase and lowercase are highlighted.
  4. Click the Optimization Check Results tab. This tab displays the messages generated from the engine, based on the selected optimization.
