Using searches
You can filter the list of notes to be displayed in the Notes Plansheet, by selecting a previously saved search. A list of saved searches can be accessed from the menu. The list of previously saved searches is based on the Planning Engine in use and the context of the saved search.
The saved search list is displayed based on these criteria:
- Searches that do not contain a Planning Engine context. That is when the Planning Engine Context field value is set to None.
- Searches in which the Planning Engine context is included as part of the search and matches the Planning Engine currently in use when the Planning Engine Context field value is set to Current.
- Searches in which the Planning Engine Context field value is set to Master and the Planning Engine in use is the Master Planning Engine for the stored Planning Engine Cycle.
These actions are performed when you select the saved search:
- The Off. option is set to
- All inline grid filters are cleared.
- The inline grid is populated again with the values that are saved within the
Save Search screen.Note: The search is limited to the planning engine that is currently in use, if the search does not contain a planning engine context.
- The screen is populated again with a list of all notes that meet the search criteria.
- The sort order of saved search is used.
