The Gantt chart view for a model is displayed with Time axis (vertical) and Resource axis (Horizontal) when you select a View for the Production Scheduling model on the navigation pane.

If the user has the required permission to view the Master model, the Published model views and Master model views options are displayed on the Main menu. Else, only the available Views are displayed in the Model Details menu.

The Time axis displays the data for the time span of the horizon definition defined in the Production Scheduling model. The granularity of the time axis is aligned with the Zoom option and cannot be configured. The dates are formatted based on the locale and the time is displayed based on the regional settings. You can use the Zoom in function by clicking on a time period and use the UP arrow to zoom out. You can use the scroll bar to view all the time periods.

The Resource axis displays a list of resources defined in the Resource panel of the Production Scheduling View definition. The resource name defined in Production Scheduling is displayed by default. You can use the scroll bar to view all the resources that are not visible by default. Where tank batches exist for a resource, an inventory graph is also displayed. On expanding the graph, the maximum and minimum capacity, the cumulative volume or weight of the batch, as defined in the production scheduling view and product unit, are displayed.

The resource availability is indicated on the work area using color codes, as defined in the resource related Time periods of Production Scheduling.

You can use the tooltip function for the batches available on the work area to display the process name, process step, order, batch start time, batch end time, quantity in production units and the current allocated resource.

You can configure the batch color and the information related to the batch in Production Scheduling. Overlapping of batches if any, are stacked on, for the resource.

The Reset View option on the toolbar allows you to synchronize the Gantt axes and the work area data with the current status of the Production Scheduling model.
