Creating Production Plan
Use this page to create a new production plan for a business plan.
- Access the required Business Plan.
- Click New on the Production tab. The Production Plan Details screen is displayed.

Specify this information on the Plan
Attributes tab:
- Plan
- The name of the production plan to be included in the current business plan.
Note:
- The possible values are displayed from distinct Plan Names in PLAN_PUBLISH_LOG.
- You can also add new plans.
- Enabled
- Indicates the status of the production plan. Possible
values:
- On (Active)
- Off (Inactive)
Note: By default, the value is set to On. - Source
- The SCV profile of the application that publishes the production plan.Note: If the current plan is selected from PLAN_PUBLISH_LOG, the value defaults to the associated Plan Source in the PLAN_PUBLISH_LOG table.
- SCV Core Plan Table
- The SCV core plan table in which the Production Plan is saved.Note: If the current plan is selected from PLAN_PUBLISH_LOG, the value is set to the associated Plan Table in the PLAN_PUBLISH_LOG table. Else, the list is created from Table Names in SCV Table Registry, where plan_table_flag = Yes.
- SCP Order Status
- The SCP status for each plan value in the production plan.Note: If the current plan is selected from PLAN_PUBLISH_LOG, the value is set to the associated SCP Order Status in the PLAN_PUBLISH_LOG table.
- Plan Version
- The version details of the production plan.Note: If the current plan is selected from PLAN_PUBLISH_LOG, this value is set to the associated Plan version in the PLAN_PUBLISH_LOG table.
- Plan Type
- The type of the production plan.Note: If the current plan is selected from PLAN_PUBLISH_LOG, this value is set to the associated Plan Type in the PLAN_PUBLISH_LOG table.
- Plan Subtype
- The sub-type of the production plan.Note: If the current plan is selected from PLAN_PUBLISH_LOG, this value is set to the associated Plan Subtype in the PLAN_PUBLISH_LOG table.
- Cycle Period
- The cycle period for which the production plan is to be created.Note: If the current plan is selected from PLAN_PUBLISH_LOG, this value is set to the associated Cycle Period ID (SCV) in the PLAN_PUBLISH_LOG table.
- Scenario
- The scenario for which the production plan is to be created.Note: If the current plan is selected from PLAN_PUBLISH_LOG, this value is set to the associated SCV Scenario ID (SCV) in the PLAN_PUBLISH_LOG table.

Specify this information on the Horizon
Attributes tab:
- Horizon
- The duration of the export horizon.
- Horizon
- The unit used for the horizon duration. Possible values:
- Days
- Weeks
- Months
- Rolling Day
- The rolling day sequence in the horizon unit of the next
plan. For example, the 2nd Monday of the Month. Note: The possible values are all ordering numbers from ‘1st’ to ‘6th’.
- Rolling Day
- The name of the rolling day. Note: The possible values are ‘Day’ and the day names from ‘Monday’ to ‘Sunday’.
- Next Plan
- Indicates the name of the Next Plan derived from the Production Plan list.
- Next Plan’s Horizon
- Indicates the horizon of the Next Plan derived from the Production Plan list.
- Column to use for Horizon Selection
- The name of the SCV Core Plan table column that contains
the horizon filter value.Note: The possible values list is created from all columns available in the SCV Core Plan Table of the Plan Attributes tab.

Specify this information on the Item &
Location Data Selection tab:
- Item Data Selection
- The name of the item data selection. This can be used as a filter when exporting
the production plan.Note: The list of possible values is displayed from the Data Selection Names in DATA_SELECTION.
- Location Data Selection
- The name of the location data selection. This can be used as a filter when
exporting the production plan.Note: The list of possible values is displayed from the Data Selection Names in DATA_SELECTION.
- Column to use for Item Selection
- The name of the SCV Core Plan table column that contains the item filter
value.Note: The list of possible values is displayed from the SCV Core Plan Table in the Plan Attributes tab.
- Column to use for Location Selection
- The name of the SCV Core Plan table column that contains the location filter
value. Note: The list of possible values is displayed from the SCV Core Plan Table in the Plan Attributes tab.
- Click the Export Profile tab.

Specify the name of the export profile in the Export Profile field.
Note: The possible values list is displayed from Export Profile Names in EXPORT_PROFILE.

Click ADD. The new production plan
is included in the selected business plan.
Note: You can use this screen to:
- Create a duplicate of the existing production plan and modify the parameters as required using the Duplicate option.
- Delete existing production plans using the Delete option.
- Move the selected production plans using the arrows.
