Loading a SCV template

You can use an XML or Zip file to load and save SCV configuration data to the application:

  1. Select Configuration > Maintenance > Upload Template.
  2. In the Select a Template to Import field, select the file that must be imported. The template can be a single XML file in the appropriate format or a zip file format, containing XML files for each record archived to a zip file.

  3. Click OK. The selected import file is added to the current instance of the application, overwriting any existing SCV configuration.

    System messages:

    • If you attempt to submit a file that is not valid, the An error occurred. Premature end of file. message is displayed.
    • If you attempt to submit a file without a valid XML template file format, the An error occurred. "Invalid byte of UTF-8 sequence." (or similar). message is displayed.
    • If a valid template file is submitted, when the import of the configuration details in the template is completed, the Operation successful. message is displayed.
