Viewing worksheets

Use this screen to view the worksheet reports. Worksheets are converted to cube-style (OLAP Server) reports embedded in the cycle or cycle module's page.
When you select a worksheet that includes a cycle with completed status, the worksheet definitions are retrieved from the specified version of the cycle.
Note: 
  • If all the worksheet configuration is available, the worksheet is displayed with the related data.
  • If the worksheet configuration is not available in the specified version of the cycle period, a blank panel is displayed with this error message:
    Worksheet configuration not present for cycle period.

The worksheet options are displayed on these toolbars:

  • Main Toolbar
  • Secondary toolbar

Main toolbar

Icon Description
Refresh Worksheet

Update the data context fields to automatically refresh the report's contents.

Execute Macro Manually run a macro for the scenario.
Scenario Import Import scenario data to the current scenario.
Scenario Export Export scenario data from the current scenario.
Notes View a list of notes.
Scenario Details Display the scenario details.
Scenario History View the editing history for the scenario.
My Events Displays the user's tasks and events.
Audit Log Displays a list of audit log messages for the cycle period and scenario.
Edit Worksheet Parameters Edit the parameters for a worksheet.
Save Scenario Changes Save the changes made to the editable scenario. Therefore, the scenario is not editable and worksheets for the scenario on the relevant cycle or cycle module tab are read-only for a user.
Discard Scenario Changes Discard the changes made to the editable scenario.
Expand to Fit Window The current worksheet panel is displayed in the entire area of the browser, allowing the user to view more columns or rows of the pivot table, or expand the chart area, as required.
Worksheet Settings Hide the data context fields to expand the worksheet report. Click the icon and clear the Show Data Context check box.

Secondary toolbar

Icon Description
Recalculate Worksheet Recalculate the changed planning data in the worksheet report for an editable scenario.
Discard Edits Since Last Worksheet Calculation Discard the changes made in the earlier calculation the worksheet data.
Export to Excel Generate an Excel export version of the worksheet report.
If the number of records exported exceeds 1000, this warning message is displayed and no further records are exported:
The number of records exported has reached the permitted limit (1,000) 
Note: The KPI measure format is not supported, only numbers are generated. The 'total' and 'insertBlank' options in measure formats are only implemented for rows (that is when measures are defined for the rows in the grid).
Export to PDF Generate a PDF export version of the worksheet report.

Add Note Add a note to the current scenario based on the context. See New Note.
Fit Forecast using default engine If the worksheet, Report Source = Embedded and Report = pivot_editor and the rv_forecast_settings parameter is specified, the option to call a forecast using the default engine is displayed.
Fit Forecast with options If the worksheet, Report Source = Embedded and Report = pivot_editor and the rv_forecast_settings parameter is specified, the option to call a forecast using the specified options is displayed.
Edit Worksheet Parameters Edit the parameters for a worksheet.

Expand to fit pane The current worksheet data is displayed in the entire area of the panel.
Show/Hide Toolbar Show or the hide the toolbar.
