Data Measures

These data measures are used within Demand Sensing calculations:
  • Sales to Date (DPLS_HSALESTODATE): Sum of sales from the customer orders imported for the current planning period.
  • Forecast to Date (DPLS_FUNITSTODATE): The forecast covering ‘Number of Days Demand Loaded this period’.
  • Forecast Units (DPLS_FUNITS): The current Net Forecast.
  • Demand To Date Variance to Forecast (DPLS_DS_VARIANCE): The difference between Sales to Date and Forecast to Date. And also calculated as Demand To Date Variance to Forecast (for calcs) (DPLS_DS_ERROR).
    Note: This measure is calculated at base cells.
  • Demand To Date Variance to Forecast Percent (DPLS_DS_VARIANCE_PER): The difference between Sales to Date and Forecast to Date as a fraction of Forecast to Date.

  • Standard Deviation over DS Horizon (DPLS_DS_FSDOVERHORIZON): A conversion of the Forecast SD to be reflective of the SD over the number of days we are comparing Forecast to Actuals. For example:
