Planning Board
Planning Board is a container that displays Toolbar, Time Axis (horizontal), Resource Axis (Vertical), and Gantt Chart (center) details when you select a
from the Production Scheduling model.If the user has the required permission to view the Master model, the Published model views and Master model views options are displayed on the
menu. Else, only the available Views are displayed in the menu.The information displayed on Gantt Panel is determined by these conditions:
- The composition of the view is determined by the configuration in the Production Scheduling application.
- A view can have a maximum of 5 Gantt panels.
- A Gantt panel can be collapsed or expanded from the header. However, the time axis (if available) remains visible for the selected view.
- If the time axis is not enabled for a view, the timeline is contained within the configured horizon. However, you can use the Gantt chart and zoom functionality.
- The height of the Gantt panel can be modified.
- The zoom level of the timeline can be modified using the shortcuts or the toolbar options. All panels are automatically resized to the new zoom level.
- The vertical scroll bar can be used to view all the available resources in the Gantt panels.
The upper and lower levels. The upper level contains menu groups, which enable you to access the Horizon Setup window. When you click the upper-level menu groups, specific actions are displayed in the lower level of the toolbar. These options are available on the lower level of a :

The information displayed on Time Axis is determined by these conditions:
- The time axis displays time periods that are limited to the date range values specified within the Production Scheduling model.
- The granularity of the time axis is aligned with the functionality and cannot be configured.
- Each time axis is limited to Month, Week, Day, or Hour.
- The dates are formatted based on the locale and the time is displayed based on the time zone of the model.
- The horizontal scroll bar can be used to view all the time periods, which are not displayed by default.
- A Now Line is displayed on the Planning board, displaying the current day and nearest four hour time period.
The information displayed on
is determined by these conditions:- The Resource axis of Gantt Panel displays a list of resources defined in the Resource
panel of the Production Scheduling View definition. The resource name defined in Production
Scheduling is displayed by default.Note: The resource name is defaulted from the Display field of the Production Scheduling View definition.
- The resource availability is displayed with color as defined in the timetables within Production Scheduling.
- The Work Area boundaries consist of two vertical separators, which cannot be moved.
- You can use the tooltip functionality for the batches available in the work area to display the name, step, order, batch start time, batch end time, quantity in production units, and the currently allocated resource.
- You can configure the batch color and the information related to the batch in Production Scheduling.
- The resource is populated with overlapping batches.
The selected Gantt panel height can be modified by clicking and dragging the panel on the bottom edge. Other Gantt panels in the view resize automatically to fit the available space. A vertical scroll bar displayed on the right side of the panel can be used to access all resources if there are multiple resources in the resized panel. The panels are resized with the new height when you release the mouse pointer.
