Cover inflow shortage of earlier scheduled batches and orders

When creating outflow, one of your options is to enable the Cover Inflow Shortage of Earlier Scheduled Batches/Orders check box. This check box is enabled only if you have selected either the option Cover Inflow Shortage or Cover Inflow Shortage and Create New Batches.

The selected value for this check box is stored. The next time outflow is created for that particular stage, the default settings are same as defined in the previous stage.

If this check box is not selected, create outflow is only allowed to connect process and tank batches that are feasible. Therefore, the batch quantity is not allowed to fall below zero during the entire outflow segment.
