Long batches

If the contribution of a CIP batch is larger than the maximum duration or quantity specified in the CIP rule, the CIP contribution is truncated to maximum quantity in the CIP rule. The violating batch can be identified only in the first batch or the batch that follows a CIP batch. A warning message is displayed, and a partial solution is returned to indicate that a CIP rule is violated.

This truncation is performed only if the maximum of all the rules in the resource group is violated by the batch. Else, the batch is included in the resources wherein the CIP maximum quantity is larger than the CIP contribution of the batch.
