Delete inflow and delete outflow

The Delete Inflow functionality deletes the inflow from the previous stages of one or more selected batches or orders. The selected batch or order remains in the schedule. If you delete the inflow of a batch which contain a batch with surplus allowed as inflow, the connection between the batches are not valid. However, the inflow batch is not deleted. The upstream batch becomes a surplus batch, and the downstream batch has an inflow shortage. You can re-establish the connection by using the Create Inflow option. If you require more flexibility, use the Disconnect Batches option.

The Delete Outflow functionality deletes the outflow batches of selected batches. Surplus must be allowed for the selected batches. If surplus is also allowed for the downstream batches, the relationships with the selected batches are not valid. However, the selected batches are not deleted. You can use the Disconnect Batches option if you require more flexibility.
