Options tab

  1. Select the time period where resource is unavailable, downtime, and locked and unselected batches check boxes, if you require splitting to take place when a batch coincides with any of these items.
    Clearing these check boxes can lead to batch overlap.
  2. Select maximum duration to split the batches at the maximum batch duration of the resource.
  3. Perform these operations to enable the process batches to be joined:
    1. Select the with joining check box.
    2. Select adjacent only and select one of the following options to join overlapping batches as adjacent batches:
      adjacent if within
      To join overlapping batches, select this option and specify the overlapping interval.
      adjacent if successive
      To join only successive batches, select this option.
    3. Select linked only to join linked batches only.
    4. Select on same resource only to join only batches that use the same resource.
    5. Select use cycle and select a cycle to join batches together in a period.
      If you select this check box, the batches that belong to the same cycle period are joined.
    6. Select if field values are same and select a field to join batches on fields of any related order.

      The search method for the related order is the same as for any related order in the interfaces. If several orders are connected, the first order that is filled by the selected batch is considered only.

  4. Click Apply to view the change results in the planning board.
