Creating a sequence

  1. Select Factory > Sequences. The Sequences overview window is displayed.
  2. Click New. The New Sequence window is displayed.
  3. Specify a unique code for the sequence.
  4. Click OK. The Sequence Entry window is displayed.
  5. Click Select. The Sequence Selection window is displayed.
    Note: 
    • To add items to the sequence, select the items in the available items section and click the single right arrow option. Alternatively, to select all the items, click the double right arrow option.
    • To remove items from the sequence, select the items in the selected items section and click the single left arrow option. Alternatively, to remove all the items from the sequence, click the double right arrow option.
  6. Drag the items to the selected items section to reorder the sequence.
  7. Click OK to close the Sequence Selection window.
    The Sequence Entry window displays the selected items. The Ascending order /- descending order column displays the sort order of each item:
    Value Description
    + Ascending order
    - Descending order
    +- Ascending order, when the other item is changing, descending order
    -+ Descending order, when the other item is changing, ascending order
    Note: The ascending sort order is automatically assigned to the new items in the sequence.
  8. Double-click the corresponding cell until you have defined the appropriate sort order to change an item's sort order, in the + or - column.
  9. Click OK to save the sequence and close the entry window.
