Using manual sort order

Manual sort can be used in combination with solvers, process batch scheduling, process batch distribution, and external algorithms.

  1. Click Sort in the Process Batches overview window. The Manual Sort window is displayed.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Specify the scheduling parameters.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Select the custom value in which you require to save the manual sort order, in the schedule field list.
  6. Perform these actions to reorder the batches in the batch list:
    • Click the column header. .Batches are reordered based on a column.
    • Drag and drop a batch. You can simultaneously drag multiple batches. Use the Shift key to select multiple batches and drag the selection.
    Note: The batch list is reordered in the Manual Sort window.
  7. Click Apply to test the manual sort order. The manual sort order sequence numbers are generated.
    Note: In the planning board, the specified scheduling parameters are applied to the selected batches.
  8. Click OK. The manual sort order is saved to the selected custom value.
    Note: To define an additional sort order, perform the same operations with a different custom value.
