Solver settings

The settings for solver can be saved directly from the Solver window. You can save settings that you require to reuse with a unique name. To reuse these settings, select the saved configuration from Run Solver sub-menu.

You can use these tabs on the Solver window:

• General: To set the general scheduling parameters.
• Constraints: To set the parameters that affect solver searching algorithms and constraints.
  Note:  This tab is displayed only if the solver type is set to standard or CIP rule.
• Objectives: To define objective weights only if you enable the CIP solver, the CIP objective.
• Synchronization: To allocate batches in time and to resources such that batches that are executed at the same time, start at the same time.
  Note:  This tab is displayed only if the solver type is set to batch synchronization.
• CIP: To create CIP batches.
  Note:  This tab is displayed only if the solver type is set to CIP rule.
• Configuration: To define limits for the solver.
• Log: To view log after the solver is executed.
