Entry windows

Entry windows display data related to a record you have selected in the relevant overview window. You can open an entry window by double-clicking a record in an overview window.

You can move through the fields from top to bottom by pressing the Tab key. You can press the Shift + Tab keys to move through the fields in reverse order.

The modified data in the entry window is not changed when the window is open, therefore cannot be used in other windows. Changes made in this window are recorded inInfor Production Scheduling after you close the window.

This table lists the options that are used to save changes in the entry window:

Option Description
The Save option saves the entries or modifications and returns you to the overview window.
The Previous and Next options save changes in the current record and take you to the previous or next record. The sequence of the records is the same as that in the overview window. If the Previous or Next option is dimmed, you are modifying the first or last record.

This table lists options that are used to undo changes in the entry window:

Option Description
The Revert option returns all changes in the current entry window.
The Cancel option takes you to the previous window without saving entries or modifications.

This table lists the options that are used to remove and sort the changes in the entry window:

Option Description
The Close option terminates data entry, rather than returning to the overview window, you return to the planning board. A message is displayed to save or cancel the changes.
The Sort option is available on some entry windows. This option enables you to sort records by various attributes in the window.

You can print data for selected or all records available in an entry window by selecting the Print option from the File menu.
