Inflow
The inflow of an order, batch, process step, or production stage is all the previous (upstream) batches, steps or stages that have direct or indirect product flow into it. Previous and upstream are two common synonyms. Batches that have coupled inflow from other batches have a time link with these batches. For decoupled inflow via inventory points, these time links do not exist. Necessary inflow quantities are determined from the inflow factor.
