Connecting process batch inflow
The
Connect Process Batch Inflow
option is accessed from the
Batches menu. Using this
option, you can empty the tank batches into a single process batch. You can
control the sequence of emptying the tank batch emptying and the quantity that
you want to take from each tank batch.
- Select a process batch with coupled inflow shortage on the planning board.

Select
Batches > Connect Process Batch Inflow. The
Connect Process Batch Inflow window is
displayed.
Note:
- In the grid, the first column displays an asterisk for tank batches that are created using the default production step.
- The last column displays a bullet symbol for the tank batches that are connected.

Select the coupled inflow product with inflow shortage for the selected process
batch.
Note:
- You can only connect one product. If you select a different product, the window is reset for the new product.
- After you have selected the coupled inflow product with inflow shortage, the tank batches with valid surplus are displayed. These tank batches are ordered by the end of the filling, standing, or offset time.
- Tank batches with the surplus not allowed flag are not displayed.
- Drag and drop the tank batches in the list of tank batches with surplus to change the order in which these tank batches fill the process batch.

Specify a value in the
linked qty column manually after you have
specified the tank batch outflow order.
Note: You can use the Propose option to distributed the shortage quantity over the tank batches with surplus.
- Click Apply to preview the distribution in the planning board.

Click
OK to close the window
and apply the changes.
Note: You can click Cancel to close the window without changes.
