Dashboard

Use the dashboard to view the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) name and the related values for each week. You can track the downtime of resources using KPIs.

The KPIs for the current schedule are compared with a baseline. When you open the dashboard, a baseline is automatically created as a snapshot. However, you can create a snapshot manually.

These are the examples describing KPIs:

  • Production cost: This value is calculated based on the data defined on the Resource Groups tab of the Process Step Entry window.
  • Production time: If this value decreases since the last snapshot, the difference is indicated with green. If the value increases since the last snapshot, the difference is indicated with red.

The combination of two KPIs can enable you to detect issues or conflicts. For example:

  • Resource conflicts
  • Late orders

These background colors are displayed for late orders KPI:

Color Description
Red High alert
Yellow Medium alert
Green No alert
Note: You can define alert boundaries for late orders.

You can select Dashboard from the File menu to view the dashboard below the planning board. If the dashboard is displayed when you exit Infor Production Scheduling, the dashboard is automatically displayed when you restart the application.

You can use these options that are displayed at the bottom of the Dashboard:

  • Collapse all: To collapse all nodes and hide the KPIs.
  • Expand all: To expand all nodes and display the KPIs.
  • Snapshot: To create a new snapshot. This snapshot replaces the previous snapshot.
  • Revert: To discard the changes made to the schedule since the last snapshot.
  • Settings: To configure the dashboard. You can select the KPIs that you require to view in the global display settings and alerts for late orders.
