Creating an interface

  1. Select Integration > Interfaces. The Interfaces overview window is displayed.
  2. Click New. The New Interface window is displayed.
  3. Specify this information:
    Interface code
    Specify a unique code for the new interface.
    entity
    Specify the entity name that specifies the data to be exchanged when the interface is run.
    mode
    Select the interface mode. Possible options:
    • Read
    • Write
    • Delete
    type
    Select the type of toolkit to be used. Possible options:
    • ASCII
    • ODBC
  4. Click OK. The Interface Entry window is displayed.
    Note: 
    • The tabs displayed in the Interface Entry window is based on the selections in the Interface code window. For example, If you select the entity Infor ERP Adage-Delivery with a type of ASCII, the Setup tab is displayed.
    • At the top of this window, the code, toolkit used and the read or write mode you have selected for this interface are displayed.
  5. Specify the required information in the corresponding tabs.
  6. Click OK to save the details.
