Connecting and disconnecting batches
You can use the Disconnect Batches option to disconnect a tank batch from a downstream process batch for which the tank batch provides inflow. The tank batch and the related downstream process batch must be selected. If the tank batch cannot accommodate surplus, the tank batch quantity is reduced. This process can delete the tank batch and the batches providing inflow to the tank batch. If the Delete not Allowed status attribute in process batch is set to Yes and the Modify Inflow for Batches with Delete not Allowed option is not selected in the scheduling preferences, a warning message is displayed. This function provides flexibility than using delete inflow on the process batch or using delete outflow on the tank batch as the function does not remove the links with other tank or process batches.
