Signaling icons on Batches

You can select the icons when creating a view. The icons are used on the batches to alert you regarding discrepancies or issue associated with the batch. These are the batches displayed on the planning board:

  • Process
  • Tank
  • Downtime

This table shows the icons that are used in batch segments:

Icons Segment Meaning
Inflow Inventory level is below minimum.
Inflow Duration or maximum inflow rate of batch has been exceeded.
batch outlined in red Inflow The batch starts ahead of the scheduled time.
Inflow The batch starts at the scheduled time.
Inflow The batch starts after the scheduled time.
Inflow Inflow shortage. Inflow
Inflow The Inventory level in batch exceeds the maximum level.
Inflow of tank batch Negative slack.
Outflow The batch starts at the scheduled time.
Outflow The inventory level of batch is below zero.
Outflow If a tank or process batch does not have surplus, the bottom outline of the outflow segment is displayed as a dotted line.
segment outlined in red Outflow The batch starts after the scheduled time.
Outflow Outflow surplus.
Outflow The Batch has locked surplus (greater than zero).
Outflow The Batch starts ahead of the scheduled time.
Outflow of tank batch Negative slack.

The top outline of a process batch is displayed as a solid line, indicating an inflow shortage. The top outline of a tank batch is displayed as a dotted line, indicating as no inflow shortage.

Locked segments are indicated with a small black square at one of the corners in the batch. The position of the square depends upon which part of the segment is locked. Possible scenarios:

  • If the start of the inflow segment of a batch is locked, a black square is displayed at the top left corner of the inflow segment.
  • If the stop of the inflow segment of a batch is locked, a black square is displayed at the top right corner of the inflow segment.
  • If the start of the outflow segment of a batch is locked, a black square is displayed at the bottom left corner of the outflow segment.
  • If the stop of the outflow segment of a batch is locked, a black square is displayed at the bottom right corner of the outflow segment.
