Defining global preferences

  1. Select File > Global Preferences. The Global Preferences window is displayed.
  2. Click the General tab to specify basic information about Global preferences.
  3. Click the Regional settings tab to define the region-specific settings.
  4. Click the Backup settings tab to define settings for creating a backup of the model.
  5. Click the Data sources tab to define the ODBC data sources which can be used to connect to the databases.
  6. Click the Custom fields tab to define settings for customizing the field details.
  7. Click the Macro schedules tab to create macro schedules that are used to run the macros automatically on the specified day and time.
  8. Click OK to save the details.
