Changeover tab

  1. Define the standard changeover.
  2. Select the corresponding check box if the changeover after idle time is not standard.
    Note:
    • If the check box is selected, the changeover after idle time is considered when calculating the changeover time for tank batches.
    • You must move to non-standard changeover at resource when creating resources, if required. This can have severe performance penalties for the Solver when a utility or enabling claim on changeover or setup is available.
  3. Specify the time for the changeover after idle time and the changeover idle time in the corresponding fields if you have specified a non-standard changeover after idle time.
  4. Specify the changeover constraint.
  5. Specify the duration settings, if required. You must perform these actions:
    1. Click Select in the duration matrices section.
    2. Double-click the duration matrices in the available items section of the Transition Matrix Selection window box that you require to include and click OK.
    3. Click Select in the duration rules section.
    4. Double-click the duration rules that you require to include in the available items section of the Transition Rule Selection window and click OK.
    5. Select a calculation formula for the selected duration matrices and duration rules from the duration formula list.
  6. Specify the cost settings, if required.
    1. Click Select in the cost matrices section.
    2. Double-click the cost matrices in the available items section of the Transition Matrix Selection window that you require to include and click OK.
    3. Click Select in the cost rules section.
    4. Double-click the cost rules in the available items section of the Transition Rule Selection window that you require to include and click OK.
    5. Select a calculation formula for the selected cost matrices and cost rules from the cost formula list.
