Scheduling orders

You can select end products to find related orders and batches.

  1. Select Batches > Schedule orders. The Schedule Orders window is displayed.
    Note: You can open this window with an active selection of process batches. From the planning board or the Process Batches overview window, select the process batches. You can press the Shift key, and select Batches > Schedule orders.
  2. Select a product from the list of all end products.
    Note: You can (reverse) sort based on code or description by pressing the Alt key and clicking the column titles. Type a digit to view the first product that begins with that digit. Optionally, click Search Product to use the search window to select.
  3. Select a range in which the batches and orders to be searched. Use the time bar option to shift back a week, back a day, to today, forward a day, and forward a week.
  4. Select an order from the orders table and you view the related batches with a start date within the range you have indicated are automatically highlighted in the list of batches.
    • The amount of surplus and the amount of outflow of each batch for this order are also displayed. The Orders for End Item list displays end items related to the end product you have selected. If you select again, this is displayed in the order and the batch lists. Alternatively, select a batch from the batch table and you can view the related orders with a due date within the range you have indicated.
    • The inflow quantity from each order that the selected batch produces is also displayed. The Batches for Process Step list displays the (alternative) process steps you can use to produce the end product selected. If you select again, this is displayed in the order and the batch lists.
