Products

A product is a type of material, substance or article that can be inflow from or outflow to a batch. Individual products derive the product type from the product group to which the product is associated. The Products overview window can be used to view only the products of a certain stage. For decoupled products, you can also use the Inventory Points overview window to view the information.

You can rename products or a subset of products.

You can use these tabs in the Product Entry window:

  • General: To view the basic information related to products.
  • Custom fields: To modify the values for custom fields that you may have defined when defining preferences.
  • Inventory points: To set inventory levels. This tab is displayed only for decoupled products.
