Creating an order

  1. Select Batches > Orders > New. The Order Entry window is displayed.
    Optionally, you can click New in the Orders overview window to create an order manually. A unique code is automatically assigned to the new order. The General tab is selected by default to specify the basic information related to orders.
    Note: Orders can also be created automatically, using interfaces.
  2. Click the Batches tab to view the details of batches created for the order.
    Note: 
    • You can access this tab by selecting Standard or Alternative from the Batch order menu.
    • The value in this tab cannot be modified.
  3. Click the Custom fields tab to set value in all fields when the value is specified in the process batch custom fields of the Preferences window.
  4. Click the Status Attribute tab to set a new status for the attributes when creating an order.
  5. Click OK to save the changes and create another order. Alternatively, continue specifying the values on the tabs of the window.
    Note: Another blank entry window is displayed to speed up the manual order entry. Click the Cancel option if you do not require to specify another order. However, if you have modified an existing order, the entry window closes and the Orders overview window is displayed again.
