User access

An Administrator with super administrator role can load templates in the SCP application. This is required for a new instance and when no role is assigned to the template. Based on the deployment type, a user is configured as follows:

  • On-Premise: A user is specified during the installation and can be configured manually using the ‘security.usersWithFullAccess=’ key in the fortress.properties file.
  • Cloud MT: A user with the Infor-SystemAdministrator or IBP-SystemAdministrator role.

User permission can be updated as follows based on the SCP application configurations for user management:

  • External User Management:
    • Select Infor OS > User Management > Manage > Users > Update Security Roles to update the user permission. This is applicable for SCP Cloud ST/MT or when SCP is configured with Infor OS in hybrid mode.
  • Inbuilt User Management:
    • Select SCP > Configuration > Security > Roles - assign Users or SCP > Configuration > Security > Users - assign Roles to update the user permission. This is applicable when external user management is not used.
    • This method is used for all SCP deployments with windows security.
