Configuring multi-panel plansheets

You can create multi-panel plansheets to display multiple standard plansheets in a single screen.

To create multi-panel plansheets:

  1. Select Configuration > Planning Engines > Plansheets.
  2. Click New.
  3. Select Multi-panel Plansheet.
  4. Specify this information:
    Name
    The name of the plansheet.
    Display Name
    The name to be displayed in the application. This is an optional field.
    Type
    The type of plansheet. This value is defaulted based on the type of plansheet selected. Multi-panel in this case.
    System
    If this check box is selected, the plansheet is system defined.
    Enabled
    If this check box is selected, the plansheet is visible to the specified users and roles.
    Workbook
    The workbook that must be used to group the plansheets.
    Users
    The users who can access the plansheet.
    Roles
    The roles authorized to access the plansheet.
    Tags
    The tag linked to the plansheet. Select from a list of pre-defined tags displayed in the Tags window.
  5. Specify this information on the Layout tab:
    Column 1 (%)
    The width of the 1st panel, as a percentage, in which the plansheet must be displayed in the row
    Column 2 (%)
    The width of the 2nd panel, as a percentage, in which the plansheet must be displayed in the row.
    Column 3 (%)
    The width of the 3rd panel, as a percentage, in which the plansheet must be displayed in the row.
    Column 4 (%)
    The width of the 4th panel, as a percentage, in which the plansheet must be displayed in the row.
    Row Height
    The height of the row, in pixels.
  6. Specify this information on the Panels tab:
    Panel
    The unique name of the panel.
    Plansheet
    Selected from a list of standard plansheets defined.
    Layout
    The location of the selected panel in the multi-panel plansheet, selected from a list of panel locations defined within the Layout tab.
    Display on Load
    If this check box is selected, the panel is displayed in the location specified on the Layout tab, when you load the multi-panel plansheet.
    Note: If this check box is cleared, the panel is displayed only using a panel link, as specified on the Panel Links or the Panel Link Overrides tab.
  7. Specify the required information on the Panel Links tab and click Add. See, Panel Links tab.
  8. Specify the required information on the Plansheet Parameters tab and click Add. See, Plansheet Parameters tab.
  9. Click Save.
