SCV Internal data source for Planning Engine calendar

When a planning engine is created using a calendar definition to create the periods (buckets) for the plan, for example from a Cycle or by specifying the calendar, level, start period and horizon, the calendar information is synchronized with the internal SCV for the tenant.

If the PE SCO process application variable scv_apsco_use_internal_calendar = 1, when importing master data in to the planning engine the synchronized calendar is reimported from SCV using the interface service "SP - SCV - SCO - Import Calendar - Internal". This import requires that the data source used in the interface matches the internal SCV for the instance.

This new data source is added to Connection = Internal SCV : "To"

  • Supply Chain Vault - Internal

This interface service is updated to use the new data source:

  • SP - SCV - SCO - Import Calendar - Internal

This ensures that the standard process to import master data can always reference the internal calendar, synchronized to SCV from the Planning Engine. If any other data sources related to SCV are updated to another SCV or database connection, the "Supply Chain Vault - Internal" must remain as "Internal SCV".

Note: This feature is enabled after loading the base template (base.zip) and Planning Engine SP SCO template (apsco.zip) for this release. You are not required to have a new role or privilege access to use this feature.
